Institute of Foreign Affaire (IFA) organized a special in-depth 7-days training on "Financial Management" to the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). The training was inaugurated by Minister of Foreign Affairs Ramesh Nath Pandey on January 15th 2006. The training provided diverse detail coverage of financial management such as development and theories of account, knowledge of managerial cost accounting, fundamentals of accounting, budgetary policy and processes etc. The ultimate goal of training was to introduce the staff with the procedure of financial management and to enhance their effectiveness to manage accounting system scientifically especially when they are posted at different Royal Nepalese missions abroad.
